1. Engine Idle Run

The idling run-in procedure is the same as for a diesel engine.

2. Tractor Idle Run-in

Tractor idle run-in should be performed after the engine water temperature reaches 60°C. Start from low gear to high gear, moving forward first and then reverse. Slowly turn left and right for each gear.

3. Tractor Load Run-in

The tractor should be towed with different implements for combined operation, running them in one by one from light to heavy loads. Tractor load run-in should be performed simultaneously with engine load run-in. During the run-in process, listen carefully to the machine's operating sounds for any unusual noises, observe the color of the engine exhaust smoke, check the readings of various instruments, and check the connecting pipes for any leaks, oil, or air. After the run-in period, the lubricant in the engine oil pan, transmission, rear axle housing, and final drive housing should be replaced. Drain the old oil while it's still hot, clean it with hot diesel, and then refill with fresh lubricant. Tighten the cylinder head nuts, check and adjust the valve clearance, and inspect and tighten the screws of other connecting components. Lubricate each lubrication point according to regulations.

The run-in period is a crucial task, and its quality directly impacts the machine's technical condition and service life.
